  • At Madd Motors we specialise in Landrover Defender engine conversions. With experience in fitting the ultra reliable BMW M57 to the extremely fast Chevrolet LS3, whether its torque or horsepower we can provide the solution.

  • With many years of experience in diagnostics we aim to diagnose the fault not just the part. We carry out complete wiring checks and correct component testing saving you time and money.

  • At Madd Motors we specialise in replacing ford wetbelts. Anything from the 2 litre diesel EcoBlue to the notorious 1 litre EcoBoost. Not many garages like to take on an Ecoboost but we have plenty of experience in them.

  • We service all makes and models of vehicles. We only use OE quality parts and oils ensuring your vehicle gets the best treatment.

    We offer a lubrication service which involves

    • Engine oil and filter change

    • Under bonnet levels check

    • Lubrication of all door hinges and catches including bonnet and boot

    • Tyre tread and pressure check

    • Full vehicle inspection

    We also offer a full service, this is the same as a lubrication service but with additional engine filters and possible spark plugs/ glow plugs.

  • At Madd Motors no job is too big whether its a timing chain on a Landrover Ingenium engine or removing the body from a discovery for a 3 litre engine replacement we tackle it all.

  • Whether it’s rebuilding a tired and rusty defender or restoring an old BMW, as petrol heads we are passionate about using our skills to save old epic cars.

My name is Tom Maddern and I have spent 15+ years working in the motor trade with the last 5 of them specialising in Landrovers and Range Rovers carrying out extensive repairs, rebuilds and engine conversions/ customisation.

I take pride in what I do and put the same time and care into every job, from a simple lubrication service to a twin turbo replacement on a range rover.
