Engine replacement

Our Customer brought in his beloved Discovery 3 in need of an engine replacement due to a failed crank shaft. The customer sourced a second hand engine from a Jaguar, this meant all of the components on the Jaguar engine would need to be removed to leave just the bare block and heads.

Once the donor engine had been stripped back we could start stripping the old components from the failed engine to swap onto the Jag engine with all new gaskets, belts and seals.

Once fully assembled the engine could then be fitted and the body dropped back onto the chassis. The final reassembly could then begin. See the video below to view the finished working vehicle.
